Catch-Photo-Release Online Tournament (CPR)

Our online catch-photo-release (CPR) tournaments are open to the public. Catch eligible species from your kayak, take a photo of it and release the live fish back into the water. Our next tournament is from June 1,2012 - September 16, 2012. Registration ends July 15, 2012.

Entry: $10 (+ $1.50 via paypal) and includes both divisions

Participants must use a store bought ruler with 1/4" markings.

1. Use any kayak that is powered by paddle, pedal, wind, or electric motor. 2. Mothershipping allowed but catch must be from kayak. 3. Within 48 hours email photo(s) and include fish length in the email to

. 4. Pictures required for all fish submissions and must include the following:

State Length of fish in email

Fish in a natural lay position (no pinched tails) on a store bought measuring board with 1/4" markings, showing the total length from nose to tail (fish with an opened mouth must show the bottom jaw lined up with the zero mark), and clear measurement.
- Part of your kayak or fellow kayak must be included in the picture The photo must also capture the surrounding area to verify authenticity of kayak fishing, and that the angler was on the water.
- Photos must be taken from a "top shot" angle; vertical angled photos will not be accepted. Please see the photo thread in the CPR Tournament forum section for further clarification.
- Fish larger than the anglers measuring device will only receive credit for the last clearly visible measurement, a photo with no clearly visible measurement will not be accepted.
4. All Submissions must be received within 48 hours. Last day to submit is Sun September 16 at 11:59pm.
5. All ties will be determined by the order that the anglers registered for the tournament.
6. Prizes must be picked up at the September 18th club meeting. Winning participants unable to pick up any prize at the September 18th club meeting must send notification to

before September 17 11:59pm, failure to do so will result in forfeiture of prize.
7. All fish must appear to be alive, pictures of dead fish or fish showing signs of improper handling will not be accepted.
8. Fish must be caught on rod & reel, fishing by any other means is prohibited and will result in disqualification.
9. Any species with a slot limit must be within the slot, all fish over the slot will not be accepted for submission. |
