TOP BAG TACKLE RULES:
Anglers must attend the TB tackle exchange at 5:15am Saturday at PAC Kayak Rentals. Each Angler MUST submit a Ziploc bag with your name written clearly in permanent marker (to verify Top Bag Side Pot winner). Your Bag submission MUST include the lures listed below in Category "A" and "B" (Note: Contents listed in category "C" will be supplied by LKFC/Sponsor at the bag exchange). It is possible to pull your own bag so give this consideration when building your TB.
TOP BAG CONTENTS (YOU WILL SUPPLY THESE ITEMS):
"A" - Six (6) – plastic baits (mixing of colors and styles encouraged – paddle tail, curly tail, etc.) Plastics must be new (Gulp is allowed but please double bag to keep separate from other baits). DO NOT SUBMIT used / worn baits in your TB submission. You WILL be required to provide replacements in the event any discrepancy is found.
"B" - One (1) – “wildcard” lure. Must be a New, pre-rigged lure with hook(s), and must not be altered from original store-bought condition. "Wildcard" lure examples include: topwater plug, rat-l-trap, flashy swimmer, spinner bait, spoon, etc.
"C" - **PROVIDED BY LKFC / SPONSOR** Two (2) - baits and Two (2) - jig heads will be provided to each angler at the bag exchange.
NOTE: All bags and baits are subject to review upon protest prior to shotgun launch. Final decision is at the discretion of the Tournament Director / Board.
ADDITIONAL ITEMS YOU MAY HAVE WITH YOU WHILE FISHING:
In addition to the TB pulled you may bring the following:
- One (1) “wildcard” lure of your choice (you may choose this after you pull your bag)
- Six (6) jig heads/hooks. A mix of traditional jig heads and hooks are allowed (you can decide after you pull your bag to see what plastic baits you receive). Hooks may have belly/shank weights, but no other "jewelry" (i.e. spinner blades like a flashy swimmer...this will be considered your wildcard if you chose to use a flashy swimmer).
- One (1) cork
- Leader material
- Tactical/Quick clips
- Super Glue
- Nothing Else!
LURE SUMMARY:
This means you will end up with the following:
- 2 "wildcard" lures (1 from the bag you pull and 1 you choose to bring)
- 8 plastic baits (6 from the bag you pull and 2 from LKFC/SPONSOR)
- 8 jig heads/hooks (2 from LKFC/SPONSOR and 6 you choose to bring)
- All acceptable lures may be combined with each other but altering such as adding colors, dyes, scents, and sprays is not allowed.
