\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nTournament Scoring\n\n\nAt any time during the contest so
meone could catch and enter a fish so the fixed points will not be known u
ntil the end of the contest. The goal is to get the most points by trying
to catch the longest fish in each category.  This makes each species equal
ly important and protects the tournament from being dominated by one long
catch.\n\nScoring Example:\nWith 60 people entered points will be awarded
1 to 60 for each individual category. The largest fish entered in each cat
egory would receive 60 points and the smallest 1 point.  The top conceivab
le score would be 180 (60 points X 3 fish entered = 180) and only if the s
ame person caught all the largest fish in all categories and entered them
first.\n \n\n\nRules and Regs\n\n\n\nAll catches must be submitted via Tou
rneyX. The TourneyX identifier code MUST be visible within your photo subm
ission\, you can have this code on a business card\, printed out\, written
with a marker on the back of your hand or measuring board\, etc.\nCopy of
the entry details will be posted to the web site in January 2026.\nAny En
try submitted without complete information will not be considered for entr
y.\nA picture of fish must be submitted along with each Entry (See Photo S
ubmission Rules below).\nPhotos and entries must be submitted within 48 ho
urs of catch except on last day of event all photos need to be submitted b
y midnight on Nov 30.\nThe tournament identifier code is required in each
picture with fish and MUST BE CLEARLY VISIBLE.  This code will be availabl
e on TourneyX at 8pm the night before the tournament begins and will be vi
sible throughout the duration of the event. Date/time of photo submission
will be used as a tie breaker to score same size entries.\nYou can upgrade
as many times as needed during the contest.\nFish must be caught in any p
ublicly accessible water in the state of Louisiana.\nThere are no size and
/or 'slot' limit\, unless you plan on keeping fish\, so bull redfish are e
ligible.\nArtificial and live bait\, GULP\, scent sprays and dips are all
allowed.\nAll anglers must wear an approved PFD and have required USCG saf
ety equipment while competing.   \nYou are allowed to wade fish or fish fr
om the bank if you are fishing within 100 feet of your launched paddle cra
ft.\nTie Breakers: In the event of a tie in an individual biggest fish cat
egory the advantage will be given to the fish submitted earliest (EX: a 20
' trout caught on 3/23 trumps a 20' trout caught on 7/4). In the event of
a tie in the overall standings the advantage will be given to the angler t
hat has the highest ranked 4th fish. Catching all 4 species isn't necessar
y to win overall but can be the deciding factor in a tie. In the event a t
ie remains\, the advantage will be given to the angler whose total aggrega
te length of ALL fish is greatest. \n\n\n\n \nPhoto Submission Rules:\n\nT
his fish must be photographed on an approved board:\n\nHawg Trough\nKetch
 Boards\nCheck-it Stick\n321 sticker board\nYakAttack Leaderboard\n\n\nThe
fish must be facing to the left with the tail to the right and the belly o
f the fish facing the angler.\nThe fish must be submitted in 0.25” increme
nts.\nIf the tail is not obviously touching or crossing a measurement line
\, it will be rounded down to the next lower quarter inch length.\nThe nos
e must be pressed up against the post of the measuring device.  Please ens
ure that shadows do not obscure the nose and post.  If the judge cannot se
e that the nose is clearly up against the post\, the angler will face a 0.
 5” length deduction.\nFor trout\, flounder\, and bass\, the fish's mouth M
UST be closed.  If the mouth is open\, it will be a minimum deduction of 0
.25'.  If the mouth is excessively open\, it may be more at the discretion
of the judge.  Redfish do not have to have their mouths closed.\nYou may
leave fish retaining devices in the fish's mouth\, but there will be a 0.5
' deduction.  This deduction may be inclusive or in addition to the open m
 outh penalty at the judge's discretion.\nThe mouth\, eye\, and tail must b
e visible for the picture to be accepted\, with the tail flat on the measu
ring board.\nThe top lobe of the tail of your fish must be inside the boun
daries of your board.  If using a Check it stick\, the top lobe must be ov
er the lines on the flat (bottom) portion of your board\, and not over the
slanted lip on the side.\nPictures must be taken while in your kayak and
showing your kayak and surrounding area in photo. \nThe picture must be ta
ken overhead and not at an extreme angle.\nPicture will only be accepted i
f they include original metadata which contains GPS coordinates.\nThe Tour
ney-X tournament identifier code must be visible in the picture (written o
n a card or the back of your hand).  If written on a card\, it cannot be p
laced on the fish.\nIf the judge deems your picture to be inauthentic or o
therwise too problematic to accept\, it will be rejected. Appeals may be m
ade to the tournament directors.\nFollowing completion of the tournament a
nd awards ceremony\, anglers may make a formal written request that their
entry is deleted from TourneyX. Doing so will delete all of the fish pictu
res\, metadata\, GPS\, and statistics from the angler’s TourneyX account.
This means these pictures/metadata/GPS will no longer be accessible to any
one including the angler or judges. This is a permanent irreversible decis
ion. Making this request will not disqualify the angler from qualifying fo
r awards in this tournament.\n\n\n\nInformation and inquires email LKFC.Tr
easurer@gmail.com\n \nSUBMITTING PHOTO ENTRIES \n1. Register through Tourn
eyX!\n2. Submit your fish via the app\, instructional video can be found H
ERE \n \nExample of Acceptable Submission:\nNOTE: Fish mouth closed\, Code
visible\, ruler with clear 0.25' increment marks\, and kayak visible.\n\n

rd.  If using a Check it stick\, the top lobe must be over the lines on th
e flat (bottom) portion of your board\, and not over the slanted lip on th
e side.\nPictures must be taken while in your kayak and showing your kayak
and surrounding area in photo.\nThe picture must be taken overhead and no
t at an extreme angle.\nPicture will only be accepted if they include orig
inal metadata which contains GPS coordinates. LKFC retains all metadata in
formation which may be reviewed by a single designated tournament director
in the event of a valid location or time-based protest.\nThe unique tourn
ament identifier code must be visible in the picture (written on a card or
the back of your hand). \nIf the judge deems your picture to be inauthent
ic or otherwise too problematic to accept\, it will be rejected. Appeals m
ay be made to the tournament directors as described below in the protests
section. All submissions are subject to final review by the tournament dir
ector.  If the tournament director overrules the judge on a submission\, t
he angler will have the opportunity to submit another picture of the same
fish or a replacement fish before the standings will be finalized.  \nFoll
owing completion of the tournament and awards ceremony\, anglers may make
a formal written request that their entry is deleted from TourneyX. Doing
so will delete all of the fish pictures\, metadata\, GPS\, and statistics
from the angler’s TourneyX account. This means these pictures/metadata/GPS
will no longer be accessible to anyone including the angler or tournament
directors. This is a permanent irreversible decision. Making this request
will not disqualify the angler from qualifying for awards in this tournam
ent.\n\nExample of Acceptable Submissions:\nNOTE: Trout mouth closed\, Uni
que Identifier Code visible\, ruler with clear 0.25' increment marks\, and
kayak visible.\n \n \nNOTE: Redfish Tail laying flat (not manipulated).\n

ament Scoring\n\n\nAt any time during the contest someone could catch and
enter a fish so the fixed points will not be known until the end of the co
ntest. The goal is to get the most points by trying to catch the longest f
ish in each category.  This makes each species equally important and prote
cts the tournament from being dominated by one long catch.\n\nScoring Exam
ple:\nWith 60 people entered points will be awarded 1 to 60 for each indiv
idual category. The largest fish entered in each category would receive 60
points and the smallest 1 point.  The top conceivable score would be 180
(60 points X 3 fish entered = 180) and only if the same person caught all
the largest fish in all categories and entered them first.\n \n\n\nRules a
nd Regs\n\n\n\nAll catches must be submitted via TourneyX. The 3-digit ide
ntifier code MUST be visible within your photo submission\, you can have t
his code on a business card\, printed out\, written with a marker on the b
ack of your hand or measuring board\, etc.\nCopy of the entry details will
be posted to the web site in January 2024.\nAny Entry submitted without c
omplete information will not be considered for entry.\nA picture of fish m
ust be submitted along with each Entry (See Photo Submission Rules below).
\nPhotos and entries must be submitted within 48 hours of catch except on
last day of event all photos need to be submitted by midnight on Nov 30\,
2023.\nThe 3-digit tournament identifier code is required in each picture
with fish and MUST BE CLEARLY VISIBLE.  This 3-digit code will be availabl
e on TourneyX January 31st at 5pm and be visible throughout the duration o
f the event. Date/time of photo submission will be used as a tie breaker t
o score same size entries.\nYou can upgrade as many times as needed during
the contest.\nFish must be caught in any publicly accessible water in the
state of Louisiana.\nThere are no size and/or 'slot' limit\, unless you p
lan on keeping fish\, so bull redfish are eligible.\nArtificial and live b
ait\, GULP\, scent sprays and dips are all allowed.\nAll anglers must wear
an approved PFD and have required USCG safety equipment while competing.
\nYou are allowed to wade fish or fish from the bank if you are fishing
within 100 feet of your launched paddle craft.\nTie Breakers: In the event
of a tie in an individual biggest fish category the advantage will be giv
en to the fish submitted earliest (EX: a 20' trout caught on 3/23/23 trump
s a 20' trout caught on 7/4/23). In the event of a tie in the overall stan
dings the advantage will be given to the angler that has the highest ranke
d 4th fish. Catching all 4 species isn't necessary to win overall but can
be the deciding factor in a tie. In the event a tie remains\, the advantag
e will be given to the angler whose total aggregate length of ALL fish is
greatest. \n\n\n\n \nPhoto Submission Rules:\n\nThis fish must be photogra
 phed on an approved board:\n\nHawg Trough\nKetch Boards\nCheck-it Stick\n3
21 sticker board\n\n\nThe fish must be facing to the left with the tail to
the right and the belly of the fish facing the angler.\nThe fish must be
submitted in 0.25” increments.\nIf the tail is not obviously touching or c
rossing a measurement line\, it will be rounded down to the next lower qua
rter inch length.\nThe nose must be pressed up against the post of the mea
suring device.  Please ensure that shadows do not obscure the nose and pos
 t.  If the judge cannot see that the nose is clearly up against the post\,
  the angler will face a 0.5” length deduction.\nFor trout\, flounder\, and
bass\, the fish's mouth MUST be closed.  If the mouth is open\, it will b
e a minimum deduction of 0.25'.  If the mouth is excessively open\, it may
be more at the discretion of the judge.  Redfish do not have to have thei
r mouths closed.\nYou may leave fish retaining devices in the fish's mouth
\, but there will be a 0.5' deduction.  This deduction may be inclusive or
in addition to the open mouth penalty at the judge's discretion.\nThe mou
th\, eye\, and tail must be visible for the picture to be accepted\, with
the tail flat on the measuring board.\nThe top lobe of the tail of your fi
sh must be inside the boundaries of your board.  If using a Check it stick
\, the top lobe must be over the lines on the flat (bottom) portion of you
r board\, and not over the slanted lip on the side.\nPictures must be take
n while in your kayak and showing your kayak and surrounding area in photo
. \nThe picture must be taken overhead and not at an extreme angle.\nPictu
re will only be accepted if they include original metadata which contains
GPS coordinates.\nThe 3-digit tournament identifier code must be visible i
n the picture (written on a card or the back of your hand).  If written on
a card\, it cannot be placed on the fish.\nIf the judge deems your pictur
e to be inauthentic or otherwise too problematic to accept\, it will be re
jected. Appeals may be made to the tournament directors.\nFollowing comple
tion of the tournament and awards ceremony\, anglers may make a formal wri
tten request that their entry is deleted from TourneyX. Doing so will dele
te all of the fish pictures\, metadata\, GPS\, and statistics from the ang
ler’s TourneyX account. This means these pictures/metadata/GPS will no lon
ger be accessible to anyone including the angler or judges. This is a perm
anent irreversible decision. Making this request will not disqualify the a
ngler from qualifying for awards in this tournament.\n\n\n\nInformation an
